BLOG, BLOG, BLOG

I have a couple of different blog pages on the web, but time constraints will probably limit me to updating only one. Though there may be crossover entries, every now and then there’ll be something different posted at my OTHER blog page:
http://mynahworks.blogspot.com
Sufficed to say a lot has happened since we returned from London in May. Not only am I married, but I also now have a Kitty. And I live in a new State. That’s enough changes for a few months, isn’t it? Anyway, time is ticking away and I still have hopes to redo the site completely sometime and start from scratch. As soon as time allows.
Meantime, friends and family should contact me for the link to our private page which I update regularly. And as soon as I can get to it, I will...

I’m back from an amazing trip to London, England, and have lots to share, but I’ve been busy catching up with my life back home since returning home.

Aside from entering a new stepping stone in my life (by getting engaged whilst on the trip to my lovely fiancée), I was also there for the purposes of catching a rocking concert at the Royal Albert Hall and a few other things I hope to blog about soon (and share photos, etc...).

Also, this week, I was a Groomsman for a very special wedding here back home! I hope to share some photos of everything, but for now, enjoy this shot from the London Movieum.

Those of you visiting this page from Rich & Jen’s wedding, contact me for the link to the wedding photos. tonyg24@mac.com

I have, over the course of the past few years, received the occasional fan email -- but not meant for me. These are meant to be addressed to the American Football player and humanitarian, Tony Gonzalez of the Kansas City Chiefs. Most recently someone wrote with the request for assistance on their homework assignment having to do with a famous person. The student sent me a list of questions about my life and career and wanted to know what it was like to be famous. While I would have loved to oblige and take their questionnaire, I am NOT the one they were trying to interview.

I bring this up only because I hate disappointing people. I hate to have them think they have found the page for their hero, when instead they’ve stumbled upon a page belonging to someone with the same name. I am sorry that they will need to keep on searching.
So I state again, as I have before: If you would like to visit the website of Tony Gonzalez the Football player - it’s best you keep searching. I am not he. He is not me. But as I said before, he’s a really great guy and I’m proud to share the name with him.

It’s actually funny every now and then. One day last year, I went to a box office to pick up some tickets I’d reserved in my name. “You look a lot bigger on TV”, quipped the Salesman. I wasn’t sure if he was joking or not.

I have officially started my vacation this year. However, I didn’t intend to spend it looking at my City and literally observing Sundown during a full moon. But that’s exactly what happened on Friday night, as I needed to wait to meet up with Jennifer, and ended up waiting for far longer than initially expected. No worries, though. I had my camera with me, and decided to try out a couple of its features. I sat by the Hoboken pier, started taking photos of the city from across the Hudson, and noticed that a full moon was struggling to come out. When it got clear enough, I zoomed in tightly, and grabbed a clear shot of the looming moon. I have been itching to do something more with my photos, so I got the idea to mix the two tonight - one of the city, one of the moon - and create this mood piece for that Friday night. Enjoy.
PS: THIS “REAL” Shot shows where the moon really was that night:

I’ll be off to Orlando in a couple of days, and I hope to catch some interesting and new shots while I’m there.
