It's been a while but the guys are back. This month, join us as we catch up on what has been going on, and then join us on a special informative tour of Mark's lightsaber collection.
Part One:
Our show begins with reactions to finding out we have become 'part of Star Wars History' ( see our entry at e3toe7podcast.blogspot.com). We then take a brief first look at the great "The Force Among Us" film (theforceamongus.com), and talk about the state of fandom.
Mark shares an interesting Star Wars tale about his baby daughter's interest in a particular character....

Part Two:
Join us for an inside tour of Mark's lightsaber collection. Find out the history of the different sabers, the manufacturing of them, as well as listen to some of the differences between them.

This month's special edition wraps up our live coverage of Celebration IV with a special candid conversation with our Special Guest Host Rich C.

Recorded on the morning of Saturday May 26th, Rich and Tony discuss the early news reports about the "incident" that had forced an 'evacuation' of the Exhibit hall (though no one mentioned a thing throughout the opening ceremonies).
Discussed are the ceremonies themselves, the event so far, what was to come, and some insights on what could be done to improve future events even more.

C4 Mini-cast # 3 (of 3): Amongst “The Force Among Us”

Meet Rick and Andrea Snijder, fans who not only came all the way from Holland to be at C4, but who also feature in the upcoming documentary film, THE FORCE AMONG US. I met Rick and Andrea while in line for the opening ceremony, and they were kind enough to take some time out to be interviewed for our show, sharing some of their behind-the-scenes stories of making the movie, as well as some interesting perspectives about the challenges of being “Dutch” Star Wars fans.

I unfortunately was not ready to record when I had the chance to meet and sit and chat with Cris & Courtney Macht, the producers of the movie. I hope to get an opportunity in the near future, once things slow down a bit for them. The movie is in it’s final stages of post-production, and will be one of the highlights of the last day of C4, so they have their hands full.

For me, one of the highlights of this trip was a casual sit-down meeting I had with Cris and Courtney and Jeff Roney and his group, during which we discussed the movie and process of making it in more detail. Jeff has interviewed them over at TalkShoe.com, so maybe we can do a crossover show sooner or later.

That said, let’s wish all involved with THE FORCE AMONG US the greatest of luck, and we will keep an eye on its progress.
